Lynn Goleme-Gallo
Music Director and Conductor of The Singing Brooks
A versatile musician, educator, and performer with more than five decades of experience, she has distinguished herself in the worlds of opera, musical theatre, sacred music, and popular repertoire as a singer, accompanist, conductor, and teacher.
Ms. Goleme-Gallo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music/Education from Rutgers University’s Douglass College, now part of the Mason Gross School of the Arts. She pursued additional graduate studies in Educational Administration at Kean University and in Vocal Pedagogy at Westminster Choir College. She holds certifications in Music Education (K–12) and Elementary Education (K–8).
In recognition of her outstanding dedication to teaching and the arts, Ms. Gallo was named “Teacher of the Year” by the Roselle Public Schools in 1988. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to nurturing musical growth, expressive artistry, and lifelong appreciation for choral singing.
In addition to her work with The Singing Brooks, Ms. Gallo leads Find Your Voice, a voice class based in Naples, maintains a private voice studio, and performs as a member of the Naples Philharmonic Chorus. She also enjoys performing with the Recreation Tappers of Southwest Florida, reflecting her enduring love of performance and the performing arts.
Known for her warmth, musicianship, and dedication to artistic excellence, Ms. Goleme-Gallo continues to inspire singers and audiences alike through her leadership, teaching, and lifelong passion for music.
Sheila Phillips
Choral Accompanist
Sheila is an ensemble performer (various trios and quartets utilizing electric keyboards and synthesizers) with more than 40 years as a professional pianist/vocalist in the Chicago and Florida areas; 25 years of experience teaching traditional piano and jazz improvisation. Most currently you will find Sheila playing piano or organ in the Gulf Coast Symphony Jazz Band; Dixieland Disciples and at First Presbyterian Church (Bonita Springs, FL). She is also a choral accompanist for New Chorals of Bonita Springs, Singing Brooks (Estero, FL), Cascades Community Chorus (Estero, FL), Tuesday Singers and substitute organist for Lamb of God Parish (Estero, FL). Sheila holds a BME from Elmhurst College and studied Jazz Piano with Skip Green from 1978-1985.
